First and foremost we want to thank everyone who helped and made it possible for us to get Jakadrien Home. She had her first night at home with her family and is looking forward to getting her life back on track. Jakadrien and her family will have a long difficult road ahead of them as they begin to sort through everything that has happened.
We would also like to ask everyone to refrain from making hasty judgments about the circumstances, which led Jakadrien to Columbia. The investigation into her deportation is in the infancy stages and will take a great deal of time to sort through.
We have seen many reports pointing out the deception which took place that led to her deportation. While some of the information is correct, it is important to not draw any conclusion before the full story is known.
Some points we would like to make;
Fact: Jakadrien a minor child left home without any money, or taking her personal possession.
Question: How does a minor child make it from Dallas to Houston without anything; other than the clothes on her back, without adult involvement?
Question: How does a minor child defraud a government system in which she had no training or previous knowledge of, without adult involvement?
We can all draw conclusions about what occurred in this case, but we ask everyone to please allow authorities the opportunity to complete their investigation before judging this situation.
As the search and rescue team that searched for this child, we are ecstatic she is home safe today with her family. We patiently and prayerfully wait for the time in which we will be able to learn the fine details of this case.
Our prayer is; this case will bring hope to other families who have a missing loved one. We also hope this case will help bring the needed attention to missing children as well as, those who prey on and victimize our kids.

Dear Lord,
Lend us Your guiding hand as we embark on this quest to recover this missing individual. Jesus taught us that the good shepherd would forget everything but to find the one lost sheep. May that lost sheep be never alone while the shepherd searches.
Grant us the strength, insight, and resources to recover the lost one. Grant us the harmony to work together in mutual support. Hold the lost in Your care. Hold us together as we spread out to search.
We pray for the family of the missing. May You comfort them with Your presence and the knowledge that so many care and want to help.
We give thanks for each person who has stepped forward, and for every prayer offered.
We know that You are all, and that light always overcomes darkness.
The good shepherd will never give up the search.

Mission Statement
United Response Search and Rescue Team will provide search and recovery crisis intervention service for missing and abducted children and adults of all ages and backgrounds. The Organization will provide these services so that no family will ever have to suffer alone while faced with such an unexpected tragic event. We will do this with compassion, dedication, professionalism, and expediency. Our primary objective will always be the safe return of a missing loved one to their family. Until there are no more missing children or adults, until all people who are lost, runaways or victims of crime are found – we will be there to help.
We will also provide preventative educational awareness programs, and identification programs that will educate children, parents, families, teachers and law enforcement in the community on how to prevent abductions and what to do with critical information when reporting a loved one missing.
