Robert Brown which was reported missing on 03/10/07 has been located. Robert’s sister, Debi Lohr informed Team Members her brother’s remains were found in a field near the Trinity River in Fort Worth Texas approximately eight months ago. Debi stated due to the overwhelming case log it took a while for the Texas DNA Database to confirm the identity of Robert’s remains.  Debi stated the family is relieved but sad to have conformation of what they had feared would be the outcome of Robert’s disappearance. Debi advised the Tarrant County Medical Examiner was unable to give the cause of death at this time, but was hopeful more information would be forthcoming pending the investigation. Please continue to lift the Brown family up in prayer as they begin to prepare to say their final farewell to Robert. Debi stated although they are sad for the loss of Robert; they are relieved to know he has been located and is no longer missing.

Anyone who would like to attend Robert’s Memorial Service is encouraged to come and support the family on 11/09/2013 at 1:00 pm at Biggers Funeral Home located at 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth TX.

A PRAYER FOR THE UNITED RESPONSE SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM

BY THE SUNSET PARK CHRISTIAN CHURCH WRITING CLASS

CALIFORNIA

Dear Lord,

Lend us Your guiding hand as we embark on this quest to recover this missing individual.  Jesus taught us that the good shepherd would forget everything but to find the one lost sheep.  May that lost sheep be never alone while the shepherd searches.

Grant us the strength, insight, and resources to recover the lost one.  Grant us the harmony to work together in mutual support.  Hold the lost in Your care.  Hold us together as we spread out to search.

We pray for the family of the missing.  May You comfort them with Your presence and the knowledge that so many care and want to help.

We give thanks for each person who has stepped forward, and for every prayer offered.

We know that You are all, and that light always overcomes darkness.

The good shepherd will never give up the search.

Amen

Mission Statement

United Response Search and Rescue Team will provide search and recovery crisis intervention service for missing and abducted children and adults of all ages and backgrounds.  The Organization will provide these services so that no family will ever have to suffer alone while faced with such an unexpected tragic event.  We will do this with compassion, dedication, professionalism, and expediency.  Our primary objective will always be the safe return of a missing loved one to their family.  Until there are no more missing children or adults, until all people who are lost, runaways or victims of crime are found – we will be there to help.

We will also provide preventative educational awareness programs, and identification programs that will educate children, parents, families, teachers and law enforcement in the community on how to prevent abductions and what to do with critical information when reporting a loved one missing.
